So long 2013—it’s been fun! Hello 2014!

As 2013 comes to a close, I’d like to reflect on just a few of the key moments for lia sophia this past year. It’s been a very busy year, and I am thankful for so many things including being part of a company that is made up of so many incredible women who inspire me every day.

Happy New Year!

*We started 2013 in style with the exciting launch of the Spring/Summer Style Guide. The collection featured a fresh take on feminine classics. Mint was one of the key colors of the season, and our Melodious necklace was an instant favorite. Similarly,  our floral pieces such as the Full Bloom statement necklace captured the floral trend perfectly. And with  the release of the Great Gatsby in May, our jewelry was already ahead of the Art Deco curve with eye-catching pieces like the Alabaster ring and our Opaline earrings worn by Katy Perry to the opening of the movie.

Jordin Sparks lit up the stage at Conference this summer.

*We are thrilled to be long time partners with Dress for Success and their annual “Something to Share” gala in April is always so moving. I was proud to represent lia sophia in presenting  the “Toast to Our Mothers” honor to Jodi Sparks, mother of singer Jordin Sparks  who serenaded her mother as a surprise on stage.

*Our “Ignite a Dream” Conference in June was inspirational and such a wonderful time to meet Advisors and celebrate success. And guess who kicked it off? Jordin Sparks! We loved that Jordin—who is a big fan of our jewelry and a powerful woman in her own right—was with us.

*July to me always means one thing: the arrival of our Fall/Winter Style Guide. The book’s cover look was one of my all-time favorites and really captured the everyday-is-a-jewelry-day vibe of the collection. There were so many standout pieces in this Style Guide, from statement necklaces to statement earrings, bold cocktail rings to must-have bangles. Our talented team of designers did an amazing job with this book (as they always do).

*And most recently, we had so much fun at the Dress for Success’ Women Helping Women breakfast in November. We were so proud of Star Division Leader Shannon Eckels and Advisor Sonnee Stanley for earning their trip to New York to attend the breakfast and spending some time with Tory and me enjoying New York City during the holiday season. We congratulate them on their success in selling the most Joyous necklaces, a beautiful piece that symbolizes our partnership with DFS, during the annual Dress for Success month in November.

Here’s to (another) great year!
